Dirty Boots is a multi-instrumentalist trio from San Francisco, CA. Its members: Gyasi Ross (Guitar), James Dumlao (Drums), and Rachel Lastimosa (Bass/Piano) met each other through San Francisco State University's Music Department in 2006. After being in a vocal-jazz ensemble together they decided to start a band that focused primarily on three-part harmonies. Their musical influences include jazz, funk, hip-hop, indie, rock, and soul, however, it is difficult to generalize their unique sound. Dirty Boots performs both acoustic and electric sets, depending on the venue. They have performed in many San Francisco venues such as The Great American Music Hall, Rockit Room, Bruno's, Broadway Studios, Beale St. Bary & Grill, Bazaar Cafe, Hotel Utah, Brainwash Cafe, El Rio, Jack Adams Hall, Amnesia, and Blondies Bar & No Grill.

Their debut EP is out now, featuring seven tracks that feature songs from all the members. Dirty Boots take multi-tasking to a new level!
