Album Notes
Recorded live to 8-tracks in a 153 year old historic buiding in Papillion, Nebraska, Dirty Fluorescents' debut album "Cut the Line" is honest, heart felt, 3-piece rock-n-roll. Superb guitar work (yes, real guitar solos do still exist), driving rythym section and thought provoking lyrics make this debut effort stand out. Dirty Fluorescents are: Shawn Cox - guitar and lead vocal. Cricket Kirk - bass guitar and backup vocal. Dave Hynek - drums. Additional: Denis Kolar - clarinet, flute and backup vocals. Recording Engineer, mixed & mastered by Ben Brodin. Recorded 3.26.2011 & 4.30.2011. Mastered via 1/4" analog tape.
