This intricate construct of deliriously catchy jams showcases the maturity of songsmiths wise beyond their years, schooled in the tradition of ass shakery and sex makery.

Like all memorable music, Pink Swear suffers from a case of contagious melodies, unforgettable hooks, and a relentless pulse from downbeat to the closing vamp. Complete with playful horns, an abundance of hand claps, they're not just a party band or dance ensemble, and neither are they subject to a fleeting vision of where they could fit on Hot 100. This is a candid peek into the collective mind of four kids doing it their way, saying it right.

Dirty Mittens will release their first full-length in June of '09.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!
author: Kyle Johnson
I am a consumer whore. I bought this album before I even listened to the samples (don't ask me why, I just do things like that). When I did listen to the samples I was not impressed and was afraid I would hate this album when it arrived. I was about as wrong as I could have been. Since receiving this album I've had to literally force myself to listen to other music in order to keep from burning it out. It's that catchy. From the opening guitar riff to the ending fade out this album is an amazing mix of guitars, horns, bass, drums and all kinds of keyboard things. Blend that with some intelligent lyrics and catchy (dare I say sexy?) vocals and you have pretty much the best use of $5 I could ask for. If you don't buy this album, you are missing out!

I sit next to Chelsea at work

But even if I didn't, this album would be on my steady rotation. There's this certain goofy grin that sneaks across my face when I hear hooks so poppy and well-crafted that the only reasonable response seems to be a wide-mouthed, teeth-baring smile. This album makes me do that for every one of its lamentably brief 21 and a half minutes.

Fun and Upbeat
author: Matthew Shell
This album is a lot of fun. A nice surprise when I was browsing through CDBaby. "The Small Things" and "Time Forgiver" are upbeat pop delights, but my favorite track is "Amelia." It builds nicely and has a bit more drama. I love all of the various instruments, especially the horns on all of these tracks. 5 Stars.
