The Dirty Third is an Indianapolis based Rock & Roll band on the verge of stardom. Riding on the wave of their recently released album, “Songs for the Living," the band has been touring relentlessly throughout the Midwest. The CD was recorded at Echo Park Studios in beautiful Bloomington, IN under the watchful eye of Producer/Engineer Paul Mahern (Selected Engineer for the John Mellencamp Band).

If you hate all the Clear Channel Garbage on today's radio, you'll love this alb
While Clear Channel has ruined today's radio, thank goodness there's an outlet for true art. This band's brand of guitars, vocals, and songwriting are worth it. I find myself constantly humming "Strongarm" and "Picture Window Perfect" while at work. While "Lima Bean" may be the rock pop hit in this collection, "Alma" and "Strongarm" are my favorites. Thanks to the "Third" for putting out a great album in a time lifeless radio!

You need this album
I have had it with today's radio. That is why I decided to purchase more independent artists. I picked this one up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the passion in the music. I heard great riffs, superb vocals, and interesting lyric ideas. "Alma" is perhaps the best song I have heard in years. It starts slow and melodic and builds into a passionate rocker. Do yourself a favor and check out the CD.
