DIRTYWHITE FASHION / THIRTEEN is an emotionally intense, rootsy rock record laden with hooks, honest lyrics, and ear catching songs. Lead singer and guitarist Feck has penned an album worthy of several listens, from the electric pulses of SOMEDAY, to the ethereal and deep layers of DRIVE. Sure to please fans of Wilco, Pete Yorn, and Coldplay, DIRTYWHITE FASHION's freshman effort is an album to put on the headphones, let the world drop away, and forget yourself listening to.

Most likeable debut album of the year....
author: Alicia Koledin
This one wins most truly likable debut album of the year, and it’s a wonder the guys from Dirtywhite Fashion aren’t already mega superstar recording artists with overplayed radio hits. Gentle, bittersweet songs such as “Simple Brick Houses” and “Married Life” are irresistibly touching. Gracefully crafted tunes like the jolly “Medicine Girl” and the earnest, pleading “Take Me To Your Place” showcase refreshing, lilting vocals and sprightly melodies. The charismatic “Someday” is as creative as it is catchy. The evocative lyrics are at once the words of a wise old sage and a mischievous young imp. Commercial, yes, but consistently clever.

Thirteen is a quantity of quality versatile music !
author: Laura T. Lynch of Kweevak.com
Their sound can be described as roots rock with contemporary flavors and a touch of pop. Some of the slower songs on this collection remind me of the austere singer songwriter style with sparse instrumentation and a focus on lyrics and vocals as found on Married Life. Dirtywhite Fashion is candid and the essential format of guitar, bass, percussions and keys has a crisp full-bodied sound. Feck, the lead vocalist, guitarist and drummer has a wide expressive vocal range and the background singing blends well with his diverse style. Yoon on bass provides steady solid groves throughout and Will Sprawls invents creative sounds and moods on his keyboard. Dirtywhite Fashion takes melodic rock to the next level with their imaginative honest sound that grows better upon each listen. Thirteen is a quantity of quality versatile music!
