ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Disasterpeace's third full-length release "Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar" is a chiptune space concept album, with strong progressive rock, demoscene, contemporary and videogame music influences. This album continues the trend of a highly-narrative music style.

Disasterpeace is a chiptune artist and a career composer for video games. He's currently writing music for the eagerly anticipated indie game title FEZ, coming out on XBLA in 2011. His last full length chip release, entitled "Level", was nominated for Chiptune Album of the Year in 2008 by the chiptune music scene's primary news outlet, True Chip Till Death.
