'Catalyst 18' features 21 original songs by eighteen of the hottest female singer/songwriters in the United States and Canada today. All profits from the sale of this CD are being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation NBCF).

The artists include Alicia Grant, Dana Meredith, Kellee Bradley, Valerie DeLaCruz, Alex Bach, Danielle McKee, V.K. Lynne, Ember Swift, Jennifer Lynn, Marina V, Allison Cipris, Jill Zutty, Lane Brody, Claudia DiNatale, Cynthia Dillenbeck, Sam Shaber, Ripe, and Groovelily.

The mission of the NBCF (www.nationalbreastcancer.org) is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. In addition, the NBCF provides research support to the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (www.mdanderson.org), which is one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. The NBCF reports that this year in America, more than 211,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 of those women will die. In addition, 1,600 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 400 will die this year. However, if breast cancer is detected early, the five-year survival rate exceeds 95%.
