Album Notes

In October of 2003, internationally recognized bassist Jon Pomplin began work on what was to be the follow up CD to the critically acclaimed CD Project 814 "Declassified" with co-producer Todd Joos at the Cellar Records studios. After enlisting the talents of Mark Summers and James Miller, who returned from the Project 814 sessions, along with the addition of drummer Steve Morris, work began in earnest and began moving forward at a brisk pace. In addition to Jon's new material, Todd, Mark and James each contributed several songs to this new endeavor including Miller's passionate song "The Janitor's Song", a tribute to the common man lost on 9/11.

Each members musical influences were certainly evident, but not overpowering, giving the project a unique flavor. Thus, "Disguise the Limit" was born. After tracking at Cellar Records over the course of 2 years and with the addition of material tracked at Declassified Records Studios for "Brothers in Arms", the release was complete in late 2004. The Music Video for Brothers in Arms was released to US and international broadcasters in 2007, garnering an average of 4000 downloads a month.

Jon Pomplin proudly endorses GHS Strings, Rocktron Effects, Morley Pedals and Hot Wire Basses.
