Album Notes

Dishwalla's music speaks to people at a very personal level. The band consistently demonstrates a unique ability to write music that elevates the personal to the universal. The Santa Barbara-based band made quite the splash a few years back with Pet Your Friends, a provocative mix of pop savvy and soulful rock grind. Fueled by the smash hit single "Counting Blue Cars," the album blazed onto the pop charts and blanketed rock radio, with the video garnering heavy play on MTV and VH1.
Between the fall of 2001 and the Summer of 2003 Dishwalla went on tour to promote their 2002 release Opaline. REVIEWS

Great intro to band

Read everyone else's reviews for the praises, I just wanna gripe a little. I felt they should've picked more of the 'rock' songs from Opaline. And they seemed to have forgotten the words during "Stay Awake" and "Once in a While". Otherwise it's great!

Captivating swirls of guitar melodies. An inspiration to having ears.

The whimsical stylings and easy, yet strong and powerful, vocals bring this sound full. I feel a bit like a musical version of Oliver Twist asking for more. This new album is an intoxicating summer road trip with great writing and engrossing hooks. Dishwalla is sure to make a come back from the days of "Driving Blue Cars". Kudos guys! I think this album is your best yet!
