ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
DISKO BOOGIE: WOODWORKS RECORDS/ NEW WEST unsigned hype next to step up from the underground scene. A Rapper / Producer from Inglewood, CA. Disko is hoping to be one of the young talents to aid the westcoast in its current climb back to mainstream popularity and success. Co-founder of the now infamous umbrella known as the "NEW WEST" with K-Aktive and others. Disko has been putting it down locally for over 7 years, during that time he has taken time to perfect almost every phase of the recording process, combining a sinister flow and production with an edge he aims to sound like no one else. Born and raised on 83rd and 7th Avenue in Inglewood, CA to a drug abusive mother and deceased father he had no easy path even to the moderate success he gotten to so far, Disko wants to solidify his position amongst the many who have ventured out of that area, most notably to many of you, Mack 10, The Relativez, Short Khop, Redrum, Road Dawgz, 211, Damani and more!!! Disko also is expanding his production credits with tracks for such artist as Problem, G-Unit artist Spider Loc, The Relativez, Spice-1, Kam, C-Bo, CTE artists 211 & Roccett, Def Jam artist Dro and many others. Disko has had recent radio success with Compton’s own Problem “I’m Toe Up” single in which proved to be the song that got Problem signed to his record deal with Universal Records. Disko also was behind Keno’s “Take a Picture” that launched his career as well as Joker from Watts. With his single “King of the Club” feat. Miami’s own Trina. Now Disko is focused on his own career and believes he can hold his own toe to toe with any heavyweight in the game today as he works on his new release “Turnt up” which he claims is a certified classic in the making!! All Disko wants to do is bring what he calls “plan old good music” back to an industry know for it’s monotony as artist hope to land that ring tone hit. Disko continues to grind daily now harder than ever now that he can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!! NEW WEST!!
