Album Notes

Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, composer Jon Bernstein has been playing piano for some 25 years and making electronic music for 8 years. The music of Disparition is drawn from a wide array of influences in many different genres, and attempts to create a natural sound yet surreal atmosphere. More than anything else the music is inspired by visual art and in a way is intended to be heard as visual art.
