Distant Future

This Project all started with a challenge from several very well known musicians and writers. Sitting around the studio one night we were talking about how many songs or different ways can you play the same or similar chord progressions.
I decided to take up the challenge and experiment with the idea, some of these experiments we decided were so good they, along with a few other compositions, had to be released.

So the Distant Future Project was born to capture a variety of musical compositions composed by Richard Norman. It’s been more than ten years since the release of “Shadows In The Spring”. Richard has built a full recording studio, filled it with drums, guitars, bass, horns, and of course keyboards, all to bring you the Audio Quality you deserve

Designed to take you through a various rhythms and moods, from Rock to symphony, New age to classical. The songs transform you away from the hustle of “day to day” life into a soothing, relaxing environment. Meant to help melt away the daily stress and then bring you right back up.
