Album Notes

Following the success of \'Mid/Air\', Dive Index has released a remix album entitled \'Collisions - The Mid/Air Remixes\' featuring notable contributions from artists such as The Album Leaf, London-based Tunng, renowned KCRW DJ Jason Bentley, longtime Thomas collaborator Roger Eno, and Francois K’s roster act Beat Pharmacy (Screen to Screen) among others. The remix album will also include the stunning videos for the songs \'Water In Our Hands\' and \'The World Is Kind.\'

Dive Index is a global talent consortium that uses vocal and instrumental talents on their last album, \'Mid/Air\', from artists such as Natalie Walker, Cat Martino and Merz (among others) and weaves them into a melodically rich but far from excessive use of sonic space. The center of Dive Index is co-writer and producer, Will Thomas. You may know the name of the New York-based producer from works done over the past decade through his alter-ego, Plumbline. His projects were all well received by press and industry off of the respected British label, Hydrogen Dukebox. Dive Index is a new project for Thomas, with \'Mid/Air\' as the second installment of a four in a series of concept albums being released worldwide.

\'Mid/Air\' has been a constant presence on LA\'s KCRW this year and “Sole Fisherman” recently received notoriety from XM Satellite Radio’s The Radar Report last month. The Radar Report is a special program on the XMU channel that highlights new and notable bands each week. Here’s what the critics said about \'Mid/Air\':
