Album Notes

Set in ancient Yodfat in the Galilee, Israel, the album Unfathomed Depth was recorded in an archeological site cave in the spring of 2009. The cave once served as a well for the 10,000 Jews who inhabited this city - once the capital of Northern Israel. The event was produced by Diwan Saz and WOMINI productions.

The members of Diwan Saz are mostly from the modern-day village of Yodfat. They are led by their teacher, Yohai Barack, a master of the saz - a traditional Turkish instrument. Other guests who recorded on this CD include: Udi Ben Knaan (lyra), Rani Lorenz (bass), Yitzhak Ventura (Turkish Ney).
