If you like Lebanese food, then you'll like Dizzy Lilacs. They remind me alot of Chicken Shwarma with a side of raw kibee.Trust me, this is a three piece meal deal you do not want to pass on.The truth hurts, but it makes for good music.When faced with heartbreak lead singer and bassit Mark Van Jackson writes beautiful hard-boiled lyrics.Skinny Paul bangs away on the drums and Damon Tidwell plays lead guitar with typical Cuban flair.Like my Uncle Richard used to say:" the thing about music is, everyone liked The Beatles but that ain't gonna bring back Lennon." I think he meant that although Dizzy Lilacs are very good, John is still gone and we miss him dearly.Until the music world WAKES UP and realizes that John Lennon wanted only the best for us all, bands like Dizzy Lilacs will continue to be great.I love Lebanese food and I love this band. And John Lennon and early Fleetwood Mac before Stevie Nicks when the played acoustic.

You Melodic Rock lovers this is the one. The one you've been missing in your collection of best CD's by an Indie group. Remember what I always say, the bands you see today could be the ones you hear on the radio tomorrow? Dizzy Lilacs could very easy be that band. Making their mark in the LA scene, Dizzy Lilacs throws out a fine sound of rock with a melodic edge CD. No head banging, kneck wrenching music. Just good sounding rock with lyrics you can understand and really get into. A solid CD all the way through, you'll love this one!

I used to think the Beatles were pretty good songcrafters,until I heard this CD by Conejo Valley's Dizzy Lilacs.A sonic echo of heart felt stuff. Hett, if this CD was any more better you'd pay twice.The band simply plays what's inside of all of us when we are just sick of holding it all in and therefore must say what is in us in order that it will be out of us.These guys are good and they are really good.If they play in your hood you should go see them when they are there because soon they will be HUGE and you would regret when you didn't go see them and then you would be angry inside and wish you could sing like the singer of them so you could make money from such emotions as these except you probably can't so you should see them then you ain't gotta worry.
