Dizzy Ritzy is a multifaceted artist since 1983: he sings, he writes songs, poems and tales, he plays guitar. His musical genre: 70's hard rock - blues, open to various contaminations. Dizzy... a poet, a wanderer, a free spirit, in one word: a bluesman!
Dizzy has recorded several auto-produced albums, but Real Tapes is his first cd produced by an indie label, After Life Music Dimension.
Real Tapes is the result of a 26 year long career; some songs are Dizzy's "hit", originally in Italian and now translated in English and rearranged; others are new, written for this album. All songs were direct recorded by guitar and drum, then voices and other instruments were overdubbed. Real Tapes is also a team work, many artists collaborated to realize it: Marco Germani (hard rock guitar), Daniela Cortesi (voice), Marco Serra (drum), Andrea Boschini (bass), Sebastiano Broglia (bass), Walter Calafiore (sax). Dizzy is author of music and lyrics, some tracks in collaboration with Marco Germani and Daniela Cortesi, who also duets with him.
Real Tapes is not only a concept album, it's a real musical experience through different genre and styles: sweet blues ballads, pure adrenaline rock songs, astral ambients... to travel with your mind and your soul.

Rousing Blues/Rock music
author: Sean B. and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team
Dizzy Ritzy's hypnotic album, "Real Tapes," is comprised of hard core Blues/Rock songs that carry substantial psychedelic influences to it as well. In "Die Hard" we hear a fierce and quick rock song replete with awesome shredding and ambient sounds of police sirens that creates a car chase put to music. "I Wish Meet You" is a plodding Blues/Rock song in which Ritzy shows off his dynamic vocal range. "Together" is a song that has more of a traditional Blues beat to it but is unique through the emotive vocal interplay between Ritzy and his talented female guest vocalist. In this album, Ritzy has channeled the varying Rock styles of the past few generations and expresses them through zestful Blues/Rock songs with style and attitude. Fans of Stevie Ray Vaughan or Led Zeppelin will thoroughly enjoy the rocking songs of “Real Tapes."
