Disc 1: Hard House mix by DJ Denise
Biography
Denise touched a turntable for the first time in 1998 and DJ'ed her first show just two weeks later, a young prodigy who became the fastest rising star the San Francisco electronic scene has ever witnessed. Earning such titles as "San Francisco's premier hard house DJ," "the Bay Area's top female trance DJ," "Queen of hard trance" and countless other praises, she's proven time and time again why she is one of the most sought-after DJs in the Bay Area. Her career has been a hectic but rewarding roller coaster ride, averaging well over 100 shows a year and traveling all across the North American West Coast and Hawaii. With more compilations to date than you can count on both hands, she's kept hungry listeners satisfied with her knack for good music and unique style of mixer cuts, tricks, and incomparably tight beatmatching.
DJ Denise owns and runs her own business, Mizumo Music, which will also be home to her record label of the same name. At the moment, Denise has several remixes under her belt, but this is only the beginning. "If you can't find what you like," she says, "You've gotta make it yourself!" Keep your eyes and ears open for more original productions in the near future.
Since the moment she first touched the tables on that unforgettable day in '98, Denise has never been able to envision a fate other than DJing. In this world of endless DJs, she stands out as an original with the talent to go far. She doesn't do it for the fame; she does it because she loves to make people happy through music. Thousands of fans can attest: it's working so far!
