This CD is a compilation of most sought-after beats produced by DJ Doz, long time hip-hop dj/producer.

Some describe THE CHOP SHOP's sound as "atmosphere music" because it has a tendency to express feelings without lyrics and put the listener in a certain mindstate.
"I just try to make it my business to get the listener to the place where I was when I made the song. If they make it, (in one piece), I did my job."

Doz has had some of his tracks placed on independant film soundtracks and is currently working on more.

"I've been dejaying for about 10 years and been producing for 5. I like having the opportunity to work other outlets so that people who may not hear the cd get to experience my music."
