This is hip-hop crafted from scratch, using mostly a 4-track tape recorder, a Gemini sampling mixer, and an eclectic record library. These beats, made in 1995-97, are from smoky basement sessions in Seattle, a farmhouse studio in Iowa, and a secret lab in a pirate radio station. When local Iowa City label S.K.A.M. asked Earl-e if he wanted to put an album together, he grabbed some of the crew and went out to "The Farm" to record some vocals. Prose, Mr. Marvalous (Vega$), Juggla Vein, Obskur, Mariano (Terrible Telly), and Crystal Grace all make their recording debuts here, but the beats are what this vibe is all about. These are not pretty sounds, unless you love vinyl pops from stolen public library LP's, underground MC's with mad flows, analog hiss, happy accidents, and off-beat production.
Track 14- "Down the Road" contains 3 BONUS SONGS at the end of the track.
The songs are raw hip-hop featuring the Unseen Legion crew: Prose, Vegas Supreme, Juggla Vein, and Jon-Jon Blazini.
