Djembé Basse Didgeridoo
Since 2003, Djemdi proposes a resonant exploration with deep and bewitching sounds.
It’s the meeting between two continents, Africa and Oceania, through the instruments that represent them, the djembe and the didgeridoo.
In a mystical atmosphere, on the borders of trance, the play of the musicians leaves us towards a particularly living musical approach : with a permanent attention to the call of other instruments, each item follows a total liberty of experimentation. Under rythms of a high emotional
intensity, each concert is different according to the inspiration of the moment. Then, closing your eyes and don’t thinking about anything is enough to go the end of the trip.
Purely instrumental, each piece leaves the name of a colour, as initiatory stages. Yellow, red, green, each of them symbolizes a favourable atmosphere to the auditory
and cultural travel. You don’t come back the same from such an odyssey and the going down on earth isn’t always easy…
With the release of a new album in 2008, Djemdi confirms its originality and foresees new multicoloured meetings.
Take care, some vibrations are contagious and may create an addiction effect…
