This production represents my most ambitious effort as of yet... combining the old world with the new, traditional with contemporary, acoustic with melodic metal.. Best interpreted in Final Battle, my metal past and my new-found passion for acoustic instrumentation are represented by Ishtar and Ereshkigal's fight to the death... their spells and attacks intertwining, deadly, beautiful, poisonous, erotic.. yet only one prevailing for eternal glory.

CDbaby asked how it all went and of course I love the CD! Proof that myspace has power. Having heard some of the music in advance made me confident to purchase. I've been given permission to use some of the tunes in future dance performances. ~ Thanks! Shanti

Visceral Music

Ernesto and Djilia Phralengo have obviously labored long to create this collection of musical journey masterworks.
Each segment of Reliq gently touches, caresses - enrages - excites - or firmly grabs hold of a different gut instinct - love, fight or flee!

I can't find words to describe most of it. You have to listen - and feel it - for yourself. It's a visceral experience.
Soledad is my personal favorite segment.
I purchased several CDs to give as heart-gifts to friends who also enjoy music that is not mainstream and mundane.
