Djnn is wonderful
author: KahinaI purchased this Cd because I saw them on You Tube at Rakash East and I truly love their music..I will continue to be a fan..

Djinn has done a great job mixing mid-east and American music. They kept it earthy, too. This has the groove and funk I was looking for: down-home dance music, not synth/over-the-top tribal, I am grateful for that.
gorgeous sound
author: Calicoone of my teachers used this cd for part of a class a few weeks ago, and i knew i had to have it! gotta love that dark hurdy gurdy whine! and of course, absolutely awesome to dance to.

A must-have for bellydancers
author: RadaIt's been several months I've been waiting for a Djinn CD album and I was not disappointed by "The Middle East Side". Great for bellydancers but also for lovers of traditional eastern music blended with modern rythms.
All the cuts are great!
author: YaldaSo rare to find a recording where ALL the cuts are fabulous! I can't listen to this at work because it is impossible to sit still while it is playing. I especially like Jimmy Hafla (I'm undecided about the name, though). Can't wait for Djinn's next CD.
An awesome CD especially for belly-dancing!
author: AyeeshaIf I can dance to it, I own it, that's why I own this CD, 'nuff said!

author: IreneProvides inspiration for aspiring artists, musical or otherwise. Fun to listen to and to practice dance moves to. Allows for stretching the imagination to the limit. Djinn - yeah, they are.
So Good!
author: LolaSome of the songs in this album are so good they can actually induce orgasm. Brooklyn balady transports me to a past life... must be that hurdy gurdy...
