This is an excellent album. But it sucks that it's their only one.

Excellent tribal or retro (70's)belly dance music. My only gripe is that I wish it were just a tad longer! I would be so happy if some of their pieces (like Brooklyn Baladi) went on to the just over 5 minute range so I could use them by themselves in shows (not to mention then I could dance to them longer too, as they are very compelling to dance to). I love that hurdy gurdy too, even if it is in G. :-)

I fell in love with Djinn's music when I attended a workshop by a tribal-fusion bellydancer, and knew I had to get the album. It didn't disappoint! Every track is a wonderful fusion of Middle-Eastern and American music and perfect for tribal bellydancing. All tribal dancers should own this album.
