DJ Moonstone (a.k.a. Sam Lipman) is a man of the electronica world. His purpose on this planet is to create music. After completing his education in audio engineering in Australia, DJ Moonstone has mixed blends of trance and house producing a fresh new sound to the music world. He has earned himself a SAE World Headquarters diploma of music industry in Australia and has received Protools Certification from SAE. Dj Moonstone has been producing his own music for over five years and in that time released two albums locally. He is experienced with programs ranging from Acid 5 to Protools 7 to Logic 7 and Reason 3. He has also worked with the Yamaha 02R console, the Behringer Eurodesk console, the Digidesign Control 24, the Digidesign ICON, the TL Audio VTC analog tube console and the Solid State Logic 4000G & XL9000K series consoles. From Madonna to Missy Elliot, Dj Moonstone has (independent) remix experience as well. Music Philosophy: Where there is sound, there is music. Tour Dates and Record Sales: DJ Moonstone has played out at club DV8 in Portland as well as at various private parties in the mid-coast area. Future shows are in the works. DJ Moonstone is working with A&R Select in Hollywood, CA, an independent A&R firm that presents music for possible record deals, film, TV, video score and publishing deals.
