D.J. TONY TONE was born and raised in the South Bronx. Tony has had many different influences from the music industry. He would spend time watching his cousin "Disco Bee" who was a member of Grand Master Flash & The Furious Five. This allowed him to see music in a different way. Tony enjoyed listening and watching the technique of playing music. As time passed he realized how much he wanted to become a Dee - Jay. He loved playing music, but sometimes felt like something was missing. Tony often felt empty inside even while doing what he loved which was playing music. It was then the Lord spoke to him and said, " You don't have to stop playing music, you are just going to play for me." Not fully understanding this experience with God, Tony gave his life over to Jesus Christ and began a new chapter in his life. As a result of this transformation he began to seek more of God and understand the Bible, to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now on fire for the Lord, Tony plays his music with more passion than ever before.
As Gospel music continues to evolve, Tony has his sights on playing it to the fullest. From Hip Hop to Traditional, people of all ages will appreciate his style in which he delivers the Good News of Jesus Christ. With a generation of people searching for God, Tony hopes to touch and reach them through the music.
