- Daniel was born to Puerto Rican parents in the city of New York in the fall of 1972. He grew up in the midst of a family that loved music, however, it was during his adolescent years that his love for music and for singing grew. At the age of 17, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and began singing at church services. Daniel received no formal musical training nor does he play an instrument. He attended the Center for the Media Arts in New York City where he learned about the different facets of the music industry. He always dreamed of creating music, but this dream grew as the Lord revealed His vision to him. Daniel set up a small studio in his home and began reading as much as he could about the music industry. He wrote songs and worked on his singing. After years of trusting in God and waiting in obedience, the Lord began opening doors and, before he knew it, Daniel had finished his first CD in the Contemporary Christian genre.

- Daniel nació de padres Puertorriqueños en la ciudad de New York, en el otoño del 1972. Se crio en medio de una familia amante a la musica, mas fue durante los años de adolescencia que su amor por la música y el canto creció. A los 17 años de edad aceptó a Jesus como su Salvador personal y comenzó a cantar en los servicios de la iglesia. Daniel no fue entrenado formalmente en la música, ni toca instrumento alguno. Él asistió a "Center for the Media Arts" en la cuidad de Nueva York donde aprendio sobre las diferentes facetas de la industria musical. Él soño siempre con crear música, pero el sueño fue creciendo al juntarse a la visión que Dios le daba. Daniel establecio un pequeño estudio en su casa y se mantuvo leyendo sobre la industria de la música. Él escribia canciones y trabajaba en su canto. Después de años de confiar y de esperar obedientemente, Dios abrió algunas puertas y antes de lo imaginado Daniel había terminado su primer CD en el genero musical Cristiano Contemporaneo.
