Album Notes

The recording of “Sit” took place at the Fire House in Vienna, Austria, an art and prayer house where for three years we were involved in about twelve hours of prayer and worship weekly. Most of these songs emerged from sitting at Jesus’ feet, hence the title. The goal of this music is intimacy and devotion, meditation and prayer. David draws upon his experience as a guitarist familiar with jazz, classical, and pop music styles in the composition and arrangement of these songs. The lyrics are an attempt to go in a mediative direction the hopefully stimulate personal reflection as well as giving expression to worship to Jesus.
