With the release of Chelsea Walks, David McMillin emerges with a newly discovered sense of what he wants to contribute to music. In "Move Like the Morning", he sings "I will follow footprints that make me live longer/ I will give rock and roll a song that makes it stronger." Relying on his acoustic guitar and raw vocals, David crafts five songs that speak for his generation, following the footprints of his admitted role models, Ryan Adams and Bob Dylan.
When asked about what separates him from the crowded field of singer/songwriters in a recent interview with Decent Xposure, David commented, "The field of singer-songwriters is full of so much talent...I think when most people hear the words singer and songwriter, they are drawn to an image of that "sensitive"musician. I guess I don't really fit into this mold...I just don't really write most of my songs about ex-girlfriends."
One listen to Chelsea Walks reveals the truth behind this separation. These five songs showcase an artist who does more than put lyrics over chords, who strives to create deeply personal songs with which a wide audience can identify - these are musical paintings, image driven pieces that depict vivid images of the road that David has been traveling throughout the past two years.
The road continues during the fall of 2005 as David travels across the Midwest and East Coast in support of Chelsea Walks.

I can not stress enough the quality of the songwriting, singing and guitar playing on this CD. David pours his heart into each and every song. Each time I listen to a song I appreciate it even more.
