Deanna Marie was sixteen years old as she played and sang these original songs straight from her heart. From songs of joy to songs of conviction, Deanna sings with a pure vocal quality that will keep you riveted.
“Who I Am” was Deanna’s first record with vocals, released in 2005. Her songs are received extremely well in the Christian community and even non-Christians enjoy Deanna’s music.
“Shine!” (track #12) won 1st runner-up out of 12,000 entries in a National Teen Songwriting Contest put on by the “USA Weekend” newspaper in 2005. The judges for the contest were Simon Cowell, of the hit show “American Idol” and Fantasia Barrino, the American Idol of 2004.
In 2006 Deanna was a finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards as “Best Female Artist” with her song “You Are Here” (track 13).
Deanna continues to write, record and perform her music. You can hear Deanna’s new singles and stay updated on her ministry by visiting her website. On an average she does 130 live performances each year regionally. It is her prayer that the music she performs will promote family harmony and love and will inspire her listeners to a closer walk with Christ.

When I heard your music, I feel in love with it. I just had to get the cd. The songs are so true to life , they talk about how we feel or things that happen in our everyday lives. The songs make me think, about how big God is. I hope you plan on making another one. The cd feels like a sunrise in the soul. Some songs are sunsets but yours are sunrises. We need more songs like these, to reach a world dying from sin.
