ABOUT THE ARTISTS
DIEGO NAVARRETE - guitar
A native of Madrid Spain, Diego Navarrete received his musical training in Barcelona from Vicente Vázquez and Francisco Galló.
Living today in Canada, he has held a professorship at Toronto School of Music since 1991, and since 1989 has served as University Guitar Player at the University of Quebec. International recognition was established in 1985 when he won the Premio de la Guitarra Española, and has grown through his recording career with over four recordings. Diego Navarrete performs frequently in major international halls and concert festivals. He conducts master classes in interpretation of early & baroque guitar music.
JAIME NARVAEZ - guitar
A native of Ajalvir, a small town close to Madrid Spain, Jaime Narvaez received his musical training in Bilbao from Eduardo Zozaya and Manolo Férez.
Living today in Toledo Spain, he has held a professorship at Toledo School of Music since 1988, and since 1989 has served as Guitar Player at the same school. International recognition was established in 1990 when he won the Tercer Premio de la Guitarra Española, and has grown through his recording career with over five recordings. Jaime Narvaez performs frequently in major international halls and concert festivals. He conducts master classes in interpretation of XX century guitar music.

I always look for unknown baroque music and this cd gave me the opportunity to find new recorded baroque music. I'm glad I found this CD because it enriches the baroque repertory. Very good performance by both guitar players Navarrete & Narvaez.

Surprise... guitarists who "performs frequently in major international halls and concert festivals" recorded this CD on Casio keyboards... and there are no guitarists but just one keyboard player...Funny!
