Album Notes

These are 12 songs that I recorded with several different bands I have fronted or co-fronted during the past ten years. I have been lucky enough to find wonderful musicians to play with over the years and I am very proud of the quality and variety of musicianship on this album (I still like that term). Jay Spell, Dean Black, and Patterson Barrett (who played with me on Jerry Jeff Walker's 1972 "L.A. Freeway" MCA release) may be known to some of you.

Over the last 30 years, I've played mostly in the D.C. area and in South Carolina, though in the early days I bounced around between L.A., Sonoma and Marin Counties, Colorado and Texas. I spent the better part of 1978 touring with "Partners in Crime", an Austin-based band that included my buddy Patterson, and Julie Griffin (now Julie Miller who many of you may know through her solo career, songwriting and collaborations with Buddy Miller).

Now in my early 50's I'm playing in the"Grand Strand" are of S.C. (Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, etc.). I'm doing solo/duo/trio work and sideman work with several local artists. I hope you enjoy my music.
