Album Notes

Hi Everybuddy! Holy bananas, you look lovely today...

Welcome to the musical tale of the great monkey, Phineas McBoof, and his adventures traveling the world to form his legendary band, Phineas McBoof And His International Band Of Misunderstood Geniuses.

The band sings some way cool songs during this completely true story, like “What My Robot Said” (which, like most country songs, is about a robot) and “Don't Monkey With My Heart” (which, like most pop songs, is not about a robot). No matter what, do NOT click on “Banana,” as it is probably too lyrically complex for the casual listener.

Wanna meet some of the characters in the band? Try “Backbone The Octopus” (to meet the world's only known eight armed drummer) and “Riley The Robot” (there's that robot again...). But by ALL means avoid “Lenny Long Tail,” where our intrepid band unintentially busts up a classical music concert. Sorry about that.

Not to be completely overshadowed by a story about the world's most charismatic monkey-fronted band, the album features world class musicians to feast your ears upon, including rockin' Chris Isaak Band guitarist Hershel Yatovitz, opera superstar Nathan Gunn, jazz great Anton Schwartz, Grammy nominated string ensemble Quartet San Francisco, and former high school music teacher Cory Cullinan (that last one doesn't have quite the same platinum ring to it, does it?....).

You may catch yourself smiling, singing, and grooving to this CD, which of course is just wrong. Do stop it and go back to being serious. Honestly, what if your kids saw you behaving this way? For more info, visit http://www.doctornoize.com
