After a seven year life journey, your hometown can seem unfamiliar. Landmarks changed, businesses came and went, meeting with unfamiliar faces, all these crowd up against a flood of intimate memories. Wattson attempts with his Native Stranger EP to encapsulate all the emotions that accompany the return of a young artist to his hometown. At times reflective and serene, at times anxious and mournful, Wattson has his work cut out for him as he re-establishes himself in a scene that never knew he existed, but he knows all too well.
