Album Notes

"DoD" is comprised of Lead Guitarist (Don Hammock), Bass Guitarist (Rick Ponce), Drummer/Percussionist (Mike McQuilken) and, Rhythm Guitarist (Mike Hammock). We all have been playing music for 30 years plus and have a strong passion for good music of all styles & genres.
"DoD" was established as a band in 1974. DoD band members are all Department of Defense, Contractor Employees, that love to play music in their spare time.

Don has built a personal, professional quality, studio in his home ("D & J Recording Studio"), which was used to produce "DMR’s" 1st CD release “Journey To Another World” which is a versatile collection incorporating a variety of music styles and venues that we hope everyone will enjoy. We've tried to please all different kinds of music lovers with our first production.
DoD has just finished their second CD titled, “Hot Stuff” and the new CD will be available on Kunaki.com, Itunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody, Napster and DigStation.com beginning mid April 2009.

"Hot Stuff" is a mixture of Rock-n-Roll, Blues, Acid Rock and High Energy music that was inspired by the guitar greats Jimi Hendrix and Joe Satriani with regards to creativity and technical ability.
