Album Notes

Hey, this is Lane, the drummer of Dog Off A Cliff.

I've been searching my whole life for a band that makes me want to flip out and just enjoy myself. I'm speaking, of course, about discovering some unknown band at a live performance and then becoming an addict. Well, in some ways it happened, in some ways it didn't. That band ended up being this one, the one I'm a part of. So I never actually did stumble upon that band, but I've seen plenty of people who have come across us in my spirits. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but really this is how it's been. The music that we make in Dog Off A Cliff is undeniably fun, and I've never been so proud to be a part of anything as this.

Johan, the guitar player, is from Sweden. We met in California and jammed just once, and we both knew without doubt that we had found what we were going to do as far as our musical contribution to the world. I moved to Sweden (from the US) and we started doing the damn thing. We found a rippin bass player from the Ukraine, named Andrii, and we created this really raw, intense funk. Our thing is more about energy than anything else. We move, and you move, too. We really can't seem to play a show without something breaking.
