Album Notes

It is fair to say that, out of the various bands that The Doits have been influenced by, The Heartbreakers are probably their most significant sources. Unlike many bands, The Doits don’t tend to lean towards either Johnny Thunder OR Tom Petty but, instead, draw their inspiration from both ends of the musical spectrum and since the release of their first album, the band members have spent a lot of time listening to a variety of power-pop, punk and new wave artists such as The Posies, Big Star, Reigning Sound, Buzzcocks, Stiv Bators, The Plimsouls, The Vibrators, The Flaming Groovies and The Barracudas to name but a few.
