Album Notes
Do it to Julia resides in the mountains of North Carolina, where for nearly three years have been living and creating music appropriate of their surroundings. The band includes Ryan O’keefe on vocals and rhythm guitar, Halli Anderson on fiddle and vocals, Alex McWalters on drums, Stephen Bush on lead guitar and vocals, and Matt Rossino on bass. Each member brought his or her own style, with influences ranging from Minus the Bear, Bright Eyes, Death Cab for Cutie, Phish, Dave Mathews Band, and Wilco, and the result was a sound the band has trouble defining. In the winter of 2007 the band signed a one album contract with Split-Rail records and has since recorded their first full-length album entitled “Archie Carroll” set to be released in October of 2008.

Get out of the way...
...cause this band is going places. They have a sound that appeals to all age groups. Finally, a band with meaningful lyrics and great instrumentation. I guarantee that after just one listen you won't be able to get it out of your head!
