Album Notes

Domestic Electrics wade through the post-college mire of jobs and relationships and document their findings in innovative, guitar-driven songs. Currently playing shows in Northern California, this four-piece recently completed their self-produced full-length debut, the Nowhere Ocean.

Sonically, the album cuts through tired indie-rock formulas while refurbishing forgotten rock treasures. Somebody spilled a cup of dreamy Yo La Tengo and concentrated Built to Spill all over your Calculus homework and the Nowhere Ocean is the towel you used to clean it up. Though all the songs have their hooks, the album is not for those looking for a quick fix. Its true reward is delving into the songs again and again and making them yours.
