Dominiq is a 21 year old singing sensation that combines an old school soul, with a R&B flair. His story is almost as compelling as his music. Born in 1982 on Christmas day, Dominiq was never handed anything. All his life his mother struggled with a major addiction problem. Her addiction took a major toll on their relationship.

Dominiq was eventually raised by his grandmother. She taught him many life lessons. But the one lesson that sticks out most profoundly in his mind is the fact that God is in control, and that everything is going to be alright.

Performing and being raised in the church has definitely influenced Dominiq's music and style. It allowed him to refine and perfect his skills as a singer, musician and man.

Overcoming his troubled past, Dominiq has emerged as one of the most sought after new artist in the state.

THE SOUND | Smoothed out, modern, hip-hop-inflected R&B from this Myrtle Beach via Marion crooner, including the catchy title track, an ode to slick rides, clubbing, VIP rooms, Hennessey and the wild thing, in which he name-checks Beyonce and Sean Paul. All 12 tracks, sporting such titles as "Nawty Shawty," "Thug Lovin," "It Ain't Fair," and "Long Time Coming," were written, produced, and performed by Dominiq.
