Now, branching out on his own, Bret has put together a collection of songs that are sure to touch your emotions.
Portraying a very personal style, the songs are edgy, but simple and about what Bret knows quite well: Life!
Songs about everyday people struggling through life; songs about kindness and cruelty, love and loneliness, exhilaration and despair.

A perfect easy listen. Thoughtful lyrics and true to life.

Rough around the edges is one of the best cd's I've ever listened to. Every song is thoughtful and well composed. It takes you along with every word and with every beat of the music. A nice soulful cd that you can rock to or contemplate to. Original in every way and 8 songs that will blow you away and wanting more. I highly reccomend this to any music fan!
