Following the release of 'Midnight 'til noon' in 2005, Donal Donohoe's second album 'Ceol 's Rann' is a return to his acoustic roots. With nine of the twelve tracks written in Irish, 'Ceol 's Rann' is a solo album that highlights
Donohoe's original guitar style and ability to carry a song without the backup of a band. From folk to blues with a touch of jazz this is a collection of original songs in Irish that shows respect for tradition but has a contempary feel. The album is completed by two of Donal's songs in English and a instrumental track.
