Singer songwriter which can sing

As i am very focussed on lady singer songwriters, the new CD of Donal was trigged through the contribution of Kim Richey, i have to be honest in this regard. But shame to me, Donal is great he can be put in the same line with John Gorka and David Wilcox, to mention only two. Furthermore the singing of Mindy Smith is great, wish i found a record of her ( please if you know she made one, let me know were i can get one). Donal keep the good work going, look forward to your next.

Donal done went and surprised me!

I wasn't sure what to expect as I'm a huge Glasnots fan and this was kind of a step for me - to imagine Donal as something other than the Glasnots. I am, however, so glad that I bought the cd. The lyrics are fabulous. The stories are well told and sung. The music is beautiful. The whole cd is just fabulous. What a wonderful surprise and a wonderful cd to enjoy, over and over again. Thumbs up from Texas!

The greatest album ever...and i mean it.

There is not one song on this cd that does not touch my soul. Every strum, every note, every lyric brings me to one place in time or another and urges me to remember the times when things were good, great and not so good/great. This man is a storyteller of the highest caliber. I've been a fan of Glasnots since the late 80's, and i always thought there could be a contemporary outlet for Donal's mastery of lyric and song. And folks, here is the best of the best.
