Years ago this composer/performer's Mom came to him and made an unusual apology...... "I'm sorry son that I gave birth to you a hundred years too late".......... sensing his classical romantic style she almost felt guilty for not birthing him into an era with the classical romantic composers such as Schuman, Shubert and the like. A classical clarinetist by trade, Don enjoys writing romantic songs for piano that have strong melodic lines.... you know the kind.......... one's you will be caught humming later in the day. He plays them in a simple way that keeps the melody in the forefront..... allowing nothing to interfere with their simple beauty.
