Especially since most of the abum was actually recorded in the 90's it takes a lot of quality and confidence to release the sound of the 90's in this day and age where real r&b doesn't seem to stand a chance.
The Done Deal album is simply briliant, there isn't actually a track on the album that's not to like. Producer Dwight Thompson has brought back memories to the early 90's when great r&b stations ruled the Amsterdam airwaves and where Done Deal would already have been an absolute favourite. But hey, since the album sounds timeless why not enjoy it today as well ?
