Love Motion is the debut album of the Minneapolis based duo Done Deal.
Recorded in 1996 by international Indie producer Dwight Thompson, the album has never been released until now. Love Motion is comprised of funky, soulful compositions about love and the pursuit of loving relationships.
Born and raised in the city of Prince and Bob Dylan, Shawn "Key-J" Jaros and Cory "Sex-C" Forney compose, perform and sing the 14 original tracks that make up this excellent album.
Their music is timeless and perfectly suited for repeated soulful listening. Phat rhythms, sing-a-long hooks, smoky ballads and memorable melodies are the musical hallmarks of these two Mid-West musicians.

What a great album! What a great sound! I can hardly believe that this production was shelved. It (still) sounds so vivid. At least 3 songs will be programmed on www.soulradio.nl. in the near future!

Refreshing 'vintage' 90's sound

Especially since most of the abum was actually recorded in the 90's it takes a lot of quality and confidence to release the sound of the 90's in this day and age where real r&b doesn't seem to stand a chance.
The Done Deal album is simply briliant, there isn't actually a track on the album that's not to like. Producer Dwight Thompson has brought back memories to the early 90's when great r&b stations ruled the Amsterdam airwaves and where Done Deal would already have been an absolute favourite. But hey, since the album sounds timeless why not enjoy it today as well ?
