Album Notes

This is a wonderful album, that is full of the beauty of another time. It is music often played by symphony Orchestras. Don Grzanna spent many years playing in German restaurants, liederhausen Octoberfests, parties, and Germanfest. Don studied classical accordion under Andy Rizzo, and Mario Moschino, and got his performance degree at his accordion school in Chicago, and achieved several degrees in music at the Roosevelt University, Chicago Musical College. Don studied music composition and got a master's degree in Music Education also at Roosevelt University. His original music is used in a few movies that need an accordion background. His daughter Suzanne, has recorded many of his songs with her jazz group "Suzanne Grzanna Jazz Quartet" where she sings and plays saxophone. Enjoy the beauty of this CD anywhere. It is very relaxing.
