Don Hatcher guitar/vocals, Paul Hatcher on drums/vocals, and David Briggs guitar/vocals/keyboards, have been playing as an ensemble since their days in The Fuse, the Six, and Jeffery Hatcher and the Big Beat. The Big Beat's album "Cross Our Hearts", was a cult classic among the roots-rock movement, and spawned the hit single, "The Man Who Would Be King." Together, the Hatchers along with Briggs, bass player John Neal, and multi-instrumentalist Ken Pinchin, make a terrific, rocking racket - as when they cut loose on the driving Hatcher's "Serenade Me," which was picked by JAM! Music's influential "Anti-Hit List" as one of the 10 best undiscovered songs. Playing their own self-described mix of 'greasy pop', this original band has built itself upon the bedrock of guitar-based music that first fuelled their love for music, and built a home for itself in the city where great music seems to be everywhere; Winnipeg.

"Sometimes things never seem to be happening where you are at, and you always feel like you have to go somewhere else. But at a certain point, you find out you are where you are supposed to be," reckons Hatcher.

"You don't always easily recognize those things about yourself. You think to see great music, you've got to jump on a jet and fly off to New York. Later, you realize that some of the best music you ever heard was happening down the street..."
