Don Lee deftly plays the bulk of the instruments on his sophomore solo release. The album ranges from upbeat funky rock-n-roll numbers to introspective acoustic interludes. No matter what style, the song is basis of the album - memorable melodies, catchy hooks, and insightful lyrics just touch the surface of the composing talent documented here.
This collection was recorded at DLR Studio in Freehold, NJ from Nov 2008 - May 2009, mixed at Trax East, South River , NJ by Don Lee and Eric Rachel in May, 2009, and mastered at West West Side Music, New Windsor, NY in May by Alan Douches. Musician credits include Don on guitar, vocals, bass, drums, keyboards, and percussion; Arielle Strauss on bongos, Jake Lee Rechtenbaugh on tamborine, and Ken Masson on drums for "Miracle" and "You Are One Of Us".
Most songs were written by the artist in the period since his last solo release in 2007 "Change Into Change". Two songs from a previous DL band were revived into what are now the definitive versions of those collaborations - "Naked In The Rain" written by Don Lee/Noel Osborn and "Miracle" written by Don Lee, Curt Erdek, and Lee Altman.
Art and photography were done by Scott Stimeare of PhotoGraffitti with additional photos by Marnie Mitchell-Lister. The packaging includes lyrics for all songs.
