Donna Carol was born to write and sing songs. Raised a preacher's kid, she was always in front of an audience. Singing in church, performing in the choir, vocalist for a band or singing in small vocal groups, music has been a constant in her life.

Throughout her life she has written songs in many genres. However, since her heart has belonged to Jesus since early childhood, most of her songs have been inspired by her relationship with Him.

Many songwriters and singers have influenced her as she has grown as an artist. From the early days listening only to the traditional gospel sounds of Dottie Rambo and Vestal Goodman to the contemporary artists of today's Christian, country, jazz and pop music. Donna's gift of songwriting has flourished over the years. Her unique ability to put her thoughts and feelings into lyrics brings a warmth and personal touch to every song.
