Album Notes

Donna Leonhart has been singing since she was a little girl. She appeared off-Broadway and at benefits with Liza Minelli when they were both young pups. Donna married bassist Jay Leonhart and soon they had two children, Michael and Carolyn, who are both professional musicians (see michaelleonhart.com, carolynleonhart.com, and/or SteelyDan.com). Donna performed occasionally but her heart was really into making sure the kids were raised well.

Now that they are out of the nest and building their own, Donna has begun singing again and this highly rated CD is the result. Bein' Green has been warmly reviewed everywhere.

REVIEWS

author: Robert M. Wagner
Hello Miss Leonhart, I heard you sing on CD Baby, and liked it very much. I'm an American songwriter living in Europe. I have written some 150 jazz ballads circa 40s through 60s, and am also an avid fan of The Great American Songbook. May I send you a few of my songs to listen to as I feel you might enjoy them. Some are laid-back ballads while others are up tempo swing. What is your preference? Have you a website ? My e-mail address in Switzerland is I look forward to hear from you. All the best, Bob M.
