ABOUT DONNA and HER MUSIC

Donna Michael, is a composer and singer/songwriter whose critically acclaimed acoustic piano contemporary instrumental and vocal recordings have been described as "a heavenly escape," "food for the soul," and "wondrously healing." MUSIC FOR MEDITATION

Donna has released several other critically acclaimed instrumental collections. Her stream-of-consciousness instrumental CDs ("Somewhere in the Silence" and "When Silence Whispers") are unique one-of-a-kind recordings created with no pre-planned music, overdubs or changes--Donna says she simply "showed up" and allowed the music to have its own expression through her. These gentle, flowing albums explore the depths of "silence" as the listener experiences deep release and rejuvenation.


MUSIC FOR CREATIVITY

Donna has also produced instrumental music for inspiration, creativity, hope and celebration ("This Feels Like Heaven"). In addition, she collaborated with hammered dulcimer artist Lee Spears to produce "The Brighter Side of Night," a recording that traces the symbolic coming of night--with its mystery, magic, enchantment, solitude and serenity--to the first light of dawn and a new awakening of hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Donna has composed and created "life-affirming" collections of inspiring song chants and instrumental accompaniment tracks that are ideal for individual and group singing to celebrate oneness and love ("Into the Light" and "One Mind One Heart"). Her long-awaited 2-disc CD entitled "Out of the Darkness" is a deeply healing musical journey "out of the darkness, into the light." “I Feel Joy” is her newest release, a collection of song chants, instrumental tracks and even 2 rhythm tracks to create your own chants or move to the rhythm of Spirit!
